My work explores the interconnectedness of all life-human, animal, and abstract forms through bold, vibrant acrylic paintings. The colors I choose are intentional, often drawn from the spectrum of hues associated with healing, vitality, and self-expression. Each piece is an invitation to step into a space of mindfulness, where colors, shapes, and lines converge to reflect our shared existence.

The 313 series is an homage to the city of Detroit, a place that has shaped both my art and my identity. Drawing inspiration from the city’s vibrant yet gritty spirit, this body of work reflects the layers-both literal and metaphorical- that define Detroit. Much like the decaying buildings that still stand as monuments to Detroit’s past, my paintings feature layers of paint that sometimes peel away, revealing fragments of stories hidden beneath. These layers are not just a technique but a symbol of the city itself: refined yet rough around the edges, constantly evolving but never forgetting its roots.
